Privacy policy

This site does not track you. There is no advertising network, no social media pixel and no sale of data. The only information gathered is what you type into the booking request form yourself, plus the technical minimum needed to run and protect the site.

Data controller

What is collected

When you send a booking request, the form transmits the following:

  • your name,
  • your email address,
  • an additional contact detail if you provide one (phone or messaging),
  • your preferred arrival and departure dates,
  • the number of adults, children and rooms,
  • the type of accommodation you are looking for,
  • the free-text message you write,
  • the language you are browsing in.

Two technical details are added to that submission: your IP address and your browser identifier. They serve only to filter out automated submissions and abuse, and are not used to profile you.

Why it is collected

Solely to handle your request: check availability, reply to you, and where applicable set up your booking. No marketing is carried out on this basis without your consent.

Who receives it

Requests are passed to CampaignKit, the request-handling tool published by LOGFILE Studio, acting as a processor on behalf of the hotel. Within it, they are accessible only to Diar Yassine staff. No request addressed to Diar Yassine is visible to any other property.

No data is sold, rented or transferred to third parties for commercial purposes.

How long it is kept

Requests are kept for as long as needed to handle the stay and to meet the hotel’s accounting obligations. Exact retention period set by the property: [to be provided by the hotel].

Cookies

The site sets no advertising cookies and no behavioural analytics cookies. Only two categories are used:

  • a language preference cookie, which remembers whether you are reading the site in French or English,
  • the technical cookies set by Cloudflare to tell a visitor from a bot and to protect the site against attacks.

The online concierge

If you open the concierge, the messages you write there are sent to the service that runs it, published by LOGFILE Studio, in order to produce an answer and, if you ask for it, to pass your request to the hotel. Do not enter sensitive data or card numbers there.

Your rights

You may request access to the data held about you, its correction or its deletion, or object to its processing. Requests go to the data controller named above.

Processing falls under Tunisian law no. 2004-63 of 27 July 2004 on the protection of personal data. If you live in the European Union, the General Data Protection Regulation additionally gives you a right to data portability and a right to lodge a complaint with your national supervisory authority.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS only. Booking requests travel encrypted and are rate limited to prevent bulk submissions. The form never asks for a card number: no payment is taken on this site.
